I know a lot of old people who really like searching for old-time sound. My grandmother is 77 years old and she is not an exclusion. She is actually used to listening to songs from old types of data carriers and commonly said that today's technologies can't provide appropriate quality of music. She refused using the CDs even when it became more frequently used than vinyl.
She has lots of friends who enjoy music and so that wasn't a problem to get so giant collection as they used to permanently interchange records. Even Elvis Presley albums may be found in her collection. Unluckily, the collection has gotten shorter with time as the records were used excessively. She bought a USB turntable and started to convert the sound. I was very astonished when I found it. As it turned out, my granny found the Internet shop that proposes such type of equipment and got a turntable to test it in action.
A lot of people even do not realize that such gadgets as USB turntables may help them to store their favorite old sounds which they have only on vinyl. There are a lot of different types of these gadgets. One thing that my grandmother found out is that overpriced produce does not certainly perform a considerably better sound. As it turned out my grandmother read some information on Stanton USB turntables online. The other models which appear to have a good quality and quite ordinary cost are Numark TT USB turntables. She realized that it won't be enough only to study the stuff about features and she desired to try both models.
I called my sister to come to our grandmother and to see how she executes some experiments with her albums. My sister was amazed too, besides, she actually decided to load some old albums to her iPod to enjoy that music when she is not at home. So, I consider that my granny is actually not as old as she looks.
