Guitars usually follow vogue trends in their styles. They develop and modify their sounds, as well as their looks, from generation to generation. World-known company Ibanez introduced their new collection in spring 2008 and that one differs from any other a lot.
Most of renowned guitars as Epiphone guitars, Gibson, Fender and others have some traditions and even new instruments commonly get the design that looks like all their classic models, but Ibanez rejected to perform the same. The tender sakura carving prompts a subtle note of something intangible which you can't clutch but can definitely feel.
The first thought that is generated in your head when you see modern RGR is “That is made in Japan”. This ninja “weapon”, made for an assassination on stage, is abstinently plain in its appearance but dangerously strong in its sound. The instrument is clothed in black, with no adornment but a white body and neck fastening. Having looked at it you can't find any unnecessary part.
